The sinking of a ferry in the southern part of the Philippines has killed at least 15 people and left over a hundred still missing

The Philippine Coast Guard said that the ferry, which was originally scheduled to travel from Zamboanga City to Holo Island in Sulu Province with 332 passengers and 27 crew members on board, sank in the waters near Brasilan Province.
The Philippine Coast Guard said that at the time of the incident, the passenger capacity of the vessel did not exceed the legal limit. No oil spill has been found in the relevant sea area since the accident.
