Swage-locked Aluminum Bar Grating - Flat/Serrated/I-bar/T-bar
The cross bars are carefully inserted into pre-punched holes in the bearing bars before being subjected to hydraulic swaging, which applies tons of pressure to firmly lock the bearing bars in place. This labour-intensive process results in swage-locked gratings that are capable of forming a permanent, durable structure that is sure to last.

Product introduction
Swage-locked Grating - I bar or Rectangular Bar Types
Swage-locked grating, also known as aluminum grating, is predominantly comprised of aluminum steel bars, although stainless steel bars can also be used. The bearing bars may be either rectangular or I bars, with the latter being the preferred and most commonly utilized type. Interestingly, I bar swage-locked grating can provide the same degree of strength as rectangular bar swage-locked grating, despite being both lighter and more cost-effective.
The cross bars are effortlessly inserted into pre-punched holes of the bearing bars and subsequently, it is subjected to hydraulic swaging under tremendous pressure to secure the bearing bars in place. Through this series of procedures, the swage-locked grating develops into a durable, permanent locked structure.
The standard spacing between bearing bars is typically 1-3/16"or 15/16". However, a new type of product called close mesh steel grating has been developed, which features a tighter spacing than standard options. Close mesh steel grating can offer spacing as small as 7/16"or 11/16".
