These artifacts include a bronze money tree with a ceramic base, a plain pottery tripod, a plain lidded bronze vessel, and a pottery figurine of a storyteller, among others. The types of artifacts span pottery, jade, bronze, Buddhist statues, portrait bricks, and Tibetan Buddhist artifacts.
After preliminary picture identification and legal research and judgment by experts, this batch of cultural relics and works of art span from the Neolithic Age to the Qing Dynasty, the category is rich, exquisite craftsmanship, has a certain historical, artistic and scientific value, and belongs to the illegal exit of Chinese cultural relics and works of art.

In November 2024, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage learned through the Chinese Consulate-General in New York that the US Attorney's Office in Manhattan, New York, had seized 41 pieces of suspected Chinese cultural relics and works of art in the course of investigation. After receiving the news, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage carried out verification and other related work in close coordination with the Chinese Consulate General in New York. The return of cultural relics and works of art was successfully realized.

Since the signing of the mou, China and the United States have successfully returned 594 pieces/sets of cultural relics lost to the United States in 20 batches to China.
